台风事件对闽江口上游营养盐和有机碳含量及通量的影响

摘要:
借助于2013年夏季两次台风(1307号“苏力”与1312号“潭美”)过境前后闽江口现场采样观测,研究了台风过境对闽江口上游营养盐、有机碳及悬浮颗粒物(TSM)等物质含量的影响.调查发现台风登陆时暴雨带来的陆源物质输入对闽江营养盐、有机碳及TSM等物质含量的增加有重要的作用.“苏力”登陆当天,采样点溶解无机氮(DIN)、活性磷酸盐(PO4P)以及TSM与前1天相比含量分别增加了72%、182%及4093%,而“潭美”登陆时DIN、PO4P以及TSM与台风登陆前1天相比分别增加了215%、654%及986%.另外,“潭美”登陆当天,溶解有机碳(DOC)与颗粒有机碳(POC)与前1天相比含量分别增加了1693%及1383%.台风登陆过后,陆源物质输入量逐渐减少,采样点物质与台风登陆当天相比开始降低.台风事件快速改变了闽江口上游物质输送通量,这对河口近岸水体环境及生态系统的稳定性具有重要的影响.

Influence of two typhoon events on the content and flux of nutrient and organic carbon in the upper Minjiang Estuary

Abstract:
To investigate the effects of typhoons entering the estuarine area on the river chemical parameters, two field surveys were conducted in the upper Minjiang Estuary before and after the passage of typhoons Soulik (No.1307) and Trami (No.1312). The results show that the nutrient, organic carbon and total suspended matter (TSM) contents all increased significantly when the typhoon landfalls, largely owing to the abrupt increase of terrestrial inputs. On the day that Soulik landfall, the contents of dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN),active phosphate and TSM increased by 7.2%, 18.2% and 409.3%, respectively, compared to that of pre-typhoon. And the contents increased by 21.5%, 65.4% and 98.6%, respectively, under the influence of typhoon Trami. In addition, the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and particulate organic carbon (POC)contents increased by 169.3% and 138.3%, respectively, compared to the pre-Trami conditions. After the typhoon passages, most material contents decreased gradually in contrast to the days of typhoon landfall. The typhoon events quickly increased the terrestrial material flux which would have major impacts on the stability of estuarine and coastal water quality and their ecosystems.
