Abstract: |
Three selective groups ofTrachinotus ovatus which were collected fomm Hainan,Shenzhen and Fujian,re-spectively,had been constructed by population selective breeding and their growth trait and variation were ana-lyzed.The results showed that growth rate in each group was significantly higher than that of control group aftermultiple selection. The specifie growth rates in Hainan,Shenzhen,Fujian group were 24.06%,7.19%and 24.84%,and they wereall higher than the control group. The absolute growth rate and specific growth rate in Fu-jian group were 0.23 g/d and 2.79%which were higher than that of Hainan group, respectively, and 0.49 g/d and 9.41%higher than that of Shenzhen group. In the earlier stage, the maximum weight variation was found inFujian group, followed by Shenzhen group, and that Haiman group was the minimum. With same weight vanation(November,2009),the distribution range of weight in Hainan group was wider(200~600 g),and that of Fujiangroup was concentrate as 43.33%of the later were weighted between 450 g and 500 g.It could beconcluded thatthe Fujian group had a greater growth advantage than Haiman and Shenzhen group. Thus,it can be a good candi-date for further selections. |
